Request of Anatidae photographs for educational materials

There is a request from the Government of the Philippines for photographs of Anatidae species for their educational materials to be used at key Anatidae sites in the country. A list of Anatidae species in the country is shown below, and pictures with close-up of bird are preferable. Your voluntary assistance is welcomed.

Kindly notice that not all pictures are to be used in such materials and editors will select preferable ones. Names of contributors are to be acknowledged on the materials when completed. Hopefully, contributors may receive one copy of products. Names of all supporters are to be acknowledged in this website no matter whether the pictures are used or not.

Such educational materials are also useful in other countries in the flyway. Kindly recognise before posting pictures that those pictures could be used for similar materials in other countries including web publication under our Action Plan.

On the condition above noted, you may assist in such educational activities with posting your pictures attached to an e-mail to the address of:

The "Action Plan for the Conservation of Migratory Anatidae in the East Asian Flyway" is a component of the "Asia-Pacific Migratory Waterbird Conservation Strategy", and the "Anatidae Site Network in the East Asian Flyway" is a programme of international co-operation to enhance the conservation of the wetlands of international importance for Anatidae (ducks, geese and swans) in the flyway under the "Action Plan". The "Anatidae Working Group" of Asia-Pacific Migratory Waterbird Conservation Committee oversees the implementation of these programmes with technical support from Anatidae Flyway Officer.
